（名前/なまえ） desu （です）
to moushi masu( と もうし（申し）ます)
Im Nami(from One piece!!)
We say ususually 「 Nami desu.」 At the casual party, we don’t have to use 「～to moushi masu 」.
Because when I hear this, I think she/he seems unfriendly, however, when at work or with an elderly person, we should use「~ to mo(u)shi masu.」
Moushi masu, is an expression of modesty, and when we use it to say my name means I am xxx.
We tend to consider the person who can speak polite Japanese definitely to be a person with an education.
Even if you are not a student, it is good to know and speak your name in a polite way.
